APPLICATION
WATEX CMA series devices are organics reduction equipment for household use. It is able to purify from not only hardness, but also purify water from organics and iron. In purification process reagent (NaCl or salt tablets) has to applied for filtration media (resin) rinsing. Rinse water can be discharged directly to biological WWTP (wastewater treatment plant).
OPERATION AND APPLICATION
WATEX CMA series consists of a filter column, the control valve and salt tank. The filter column is filled up with ion exchange resin mixture (cationic and anionic), which reduces organics, ammonia, hardness and filters iron. The control valve performs automatic rinse. Salt tank is filled with the reagent (NaCl salt tablets) that is used for rinsing. Amount of water that can be purified is set depending on the amount of resins in equipment and provided water quality.
The equipment can also purify water from iron, but the iron content must not exceed 3.0 mg/l.
Although the equipment uses salt tablets for filtration media regeneration, water that has been purified can be used for drinking and satisfaction of other human needs.
To ensure operation of equipment connection to electricity (one socket) and ingoing water pressure of 2.5 bar has to be supplied.
Equipment can be installed in wet areas or underground mines, which are made of concrete rings.
FILTER CONTROL
The product has many parameters that can be adjusted according to your needs, such as rinse time, frequency, reagent consumption, and so on.
WATEX CMA series equipment is equipped with a Clack WS1CI control valve with built-in flow meter that allows to perform filter rinsing according to water consumption. Flowmeter saves water and salt needed for rinsing. Filter can be equipped with bypass line, which allows to switch off equipment and quickly perform preventive maintenance. Control valve saves all information in case of any power failure.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to install mechanical filter before equipment to ensure long equipment life.
