WATEX MWTP2000 is a fully integrated mobile water purification system built inside a standard 20-foot ISO container. Designed for civil protection, humanitarian response, municipal backup water supply and infrastructure recovery, the system can produce up to 2,000 litres of drinking water per hour from challenging raw-water sources.
This containerized water treatment plant is engineered for lakes, rivers, ponds, canals, brackish water and other raw water of uncertain quality. The final treatment configuration and achievable water quality are confirmed from a raw-water analysis and the drinking-water requirements applicable to the destination country or project.
Actual production capacity, recovery rate and maintenance intervals depend on raw-water composition, temperature, operating conditions and the selected treatment configuration.
Depending on the agreed configuration and operating conditions, the complete multi-stage process can reduce a wide range of contaminants by up to 98%. WATEX confirms the required pre-treatment and polishing stages after reviewing the source-water analysis.

The system is intended for trained technical personnel who can monitor operating parameters and manage raw-water, fuel and consumable supplies. Routine work includes generator refuelling, filter-media replacement, UV-lamp replacement and antiscalant replenishment where these modules are included. WATEX can define the recommended spare-parts and consumables package for the expected operating period.
