Sediment is one of the most common water issues, so many solutions have been developed to remove it effectively.
One such solution is the bag filter: it retains a large amount of sediment inside the bag, allowing water to return to the system free of particles of various sizes.

Hero is Atlas Filtri’s bag filter that creates a barrier against sand, silt, dirt and rust, ensuring an efficient and protected system. Hero prevents sediments of different sizes from building up in the system, keeps household piping from clogging and extends the service life of connected appliances.

The key feature of Hero is its ability to hold a large amount of sediment, which reduces replacement frequency and waste generated, saving time and costs.

Atlas Filtri Hero filter bags are available in different filtration grades and—using the dedicated BIG BLUE MONO filter basket HERO—can be used with BIG BLUE MONO housings. Available grades: 1, 5, 50 microns, to capture sediments of different sizes (clay, silt, fine particles, etc.). The bags are made of polypropylene fabric; maximum operating temperature 45 °C (113 °F), minimum 4 °C (39.2 °F).
