Water quality problems and solutions

Aggressive carbon dioxide corrodes concrete, piping, and hot water tanks of black steel. Due to the products of corrosion water gets turbid, red with rust and ochre. The carbon dioxide can be found in water of earth strata that is deficient in calcium.

Aggressive carbon dioxide can be removed by a pressure filter using a calcium-containing filter medium. An alternative way to remove aggressive carbon dioxide is degassing.

Pressure filter solutions WATEX RCTB or FA type.
