Sulfates occur naturally in numerous minerals. These dissolved minerals contribute to the mineral content of many drinking-waters. Elevated levels of sulfates in drinking water and process water causes white precipitate on equipment surface. People not used to drinking water with high levels of sulfate can experience dehydration and diarrhea.
There are two types of treatment systems that will remove sulfate from water: ion exchange and reverse osmosis.
Ion exchange products WATEX CMS type.
Reverse osmosis systems WATEX WRO type.
