Iron Removal Plant in Zemgale, Latvia

WATEX completed the delivery of pressure filters for the project ‘’Development of Water Supply Services in Jelgava, Jelgava region, Latvia’’ in the period from May 2013 to March 2014.

Within this project, WATEX Ltd. implemented the following works:

Production of pressure filter tanks (D=3600 mm, H=5100 mm from steel), including equipment of each filter with 3 manholes (D=600mm) and executing treatment of the tanks, outside 500 µ (2 primer layers and 1 final layer) and inner 500 µ  treatment (2 primer layers and final layer for potable water).

  • Installed inner stainless steel pipelines.
  • The quality control of filter tanks – pressure control and Roentgen testing of welding, measurement of thickness of painting, measurement of the size dimensions of tank, testing of the system.
  • Certification of CE branding compliance
  • Delivery of containers to the site.

Within project, Customer received tested, high quality pressure filters applicable in potable water systems. Equipment conforms to Cabinet of Ministers Directives Nr. 235 “Mandatory requirements of safety and quality of drinking water, order of monitoring and control.”
